From Rapallo to Zoagli

From Rapallo to Zoagli: a pleasant walk of about 2 hours among creuse, olive groves and bell towers!

Starting from via Pietrafraccia in the Seglio district, go up a steep staircase. This is the most challenging part of the route but, in about 30 minutes, you can reach the panoramic church of Sant’Ambrogio. There the route unfolds on a driveway, generally with little traffic, up to the ancient Church of San Pantaleo which stands in a strategic position. A portico, now buffered, reminds us that in the Middle Ages this was a stopping point for wayfarers and pilgrims. From the church, take a narrow, partly paved path that flows into Via Scoglio, and then descends into the heart of Zoagli.

Curiosity: Alternatively, in Sant’Ambrogio it is possible to take a path in the woods, which connects, in Semorile, with the Path of the 5 bell towers.
